Spanish Chorizo Flatbread

The perfect crowd pleasing appetizer or meal. There is no wrong way to make flatbread. Use store-bought shells or make your own, whatever you have the energy or time for is the right choice.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Spanish Chorizo or Turkey Chorizo Stapleton Sausages
  • 4 flatbread pizza crusts
  • 1 cup cooked corn
  • 1 sliced red peppers
  • 1 cup Feta/Cotija cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
  • Drizzle & base:
  • ⅓ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • zest of 1 lime
  • juice of 1 lime

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425° F
  • Pan fry or BBQ sausage
  • Whisk together all sauce ingredients
  • Distributed the sauce evenly over the 4 crusts, leaving some for drizzling at the end
  • Slice cooked sausage and arrange over the 4 flatbreads
  • Add corn, red peppers, and cheese
  • Bake for 8-10 mins
  • Top with cilantro and drizzle
