Spanish Chorizo Flatbread
The perfect crowd pleasing appetizer or meal. There is no wrong way to make flatbread. Use store-bought shells or make your own, whatever you have the energy or time for is the right choice.
Ingredients
- 1 package Spanish Chorizo or Turkey Chorizo Stapleton Sausages
- 4 flatbread pizza crusts
- 1 cup cooked corn
- 1 sliced red peppers
- 1 cup Feta/Cotija cheese
- ¼ cup chopped cilantro
- Drizzle & base:
- ⅓ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- zest of 1 lime
- juice of 1 lime
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425° F
- Pan fry or BBQ sausage
- Whisk together all sauce ingredients
- Distributed the sauce evenly over the 4 crusts, leaving some for drizzling at the end
- Slice cooked sausage and arrange over the 4 flatbreads
- Add corn, red peppers, and cheese
- Bake for 8-10 mins
- Top with cilantro and drizzle
