Greek Donair Wrap

Perfect for lunch or weeknight dinner. Dress it up or down, this meal is one you will want to make over and over again.


  • 1 package Turkey or Lamb Donair
  • 4 wraps or pita bread
  • 1 cup diced cucumber
  • 1 sliced tomato
  • ½ cup tzatziki sauce and/or hummus
  • 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1-2 cups tabbouleh
  • ½ cup pickled turnips
  • ½ cup slides red onion
  • Pickled jalapeno (if you like a little heat)
  • Tabbouleh:
  • ½ cup diced cucumber
  • ½ cup diced tomato
  • ½ tsp sea salt, divided
  • 1 bunch curly parsley, chopped
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh mint
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (1 lemon)
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced


  • Pan fry or BBQ sausage
  • Prepare the tabbouleh: Combine cucumber and tomato with ¼ tsp salt and let rest for 10 minutes. Finely chop parsley and mint, transfer to medium sized bowl. Strain off any juice from the cucumber and tomato bowl and add to parsley. Whisk olive oil, lemon juice, and remaining salt. Mix together and let it sit for 15 minutes (if you have time) or use immediately
  • Spread tzatziki and or hummus in the center of the wrap or pita
  • Add donair (whole or chopped) and the rest of the ingredients to your taste
  • Wrap up and serve immediately
